Foreskin Restoration: Can I Really Regrow My Foreskin?

The term "foreskin restoration" is a bit of a misnomer. Once amputated, the specialized structures of the prepuce unfortunately cannot be truly restored, at least not with our current medical technology. With advances in tissue regeneration, this will become a reality someday, but for now, the best we can accomplish is "restoration" via non-surgical means. Foreskin restoration is done via tissue expansion. Basically, your remaining tissue is placed under gentle to moderate tension, and that tension stimulates cell growth via mitosis. It's not just stretching, although early on, some gains can be attributed to stretching. The new tissue you grow is permanent, and once you grow enough, it functions in a way very similar to the natural foreskin. Foreskin restoration typically takes years to complete. From what I've read of other restorers' experiences, you can expect the whole process to take between 2-5 years if you are consistent with your routine. Most men would need to grow approximately 15 square inches of tissue to complete their restoration. The sheer amount of tissue needed really drives home how circumcision isn't just a little snip. While the specialized nerve endings may be lost permanently, you will grow more of the same nerves you already have, and your glans and inner foreskin will dekeratinize, or shed the callous-like outer layers of cells, increasing sensitivity and range of sensations you are able to feel. You will also gain a gliding action similar to that of an intact penis, which further adds to sensation. I have never read of any man being unhappy with they've managed to regain. I'm impressed with just how different everything feels, how complex and rich the sensations are now, and how intense my sensitivity has become.
